The Reception Clinic and Diagnostic Department is a structural division of the Medical Center "Mother and Child Medical Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine".

Specialists of the department receive and register patients on the referral of doctors of Primary Health Care Centers and other health care institutions, or those who have applied independently; provide advisory, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitation assistance to children and adults.

Medical examination and primary diagnosis are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine:

• Examination, primary examination of patients and laboratory express diagnostics (if necessary);
• Providing emergency medical care;
• Filling out medical documentation;
• Determination of the preliminary diagnosis, scope of research and rehabilitation in accordance with local protocols for the provision of medical care;
• Isolation of patients with infectious diseases in an isolation ward and organization of hospitalization in the city infectious disease hospital;
• Dynamic supervision of patients who are hospitalized in an isolation ward;
• Dynamic supervision of patients in the departments of the Medical Center, in accordance with sanitary and hygienic rules and regulations;
• Providing medical assistance to dental patients;
• Provision of psychotherapeutic assistance.

In order to provide effective medical care, the following instrumental studies are conducted:

• Rheoencephalography
• Echoencephalography
• Electroencephalography
• Electrocardiogram
• Spirography
• Ultrasonic densitometry
• Ultrasound examinations of the thyroid gland, organs of the abdominal cavity, organs of the pelvis, kidneys, bladder, lymph nodes, joints, heart
• X-ray studies

Specialist doctors are highly professional, have a higher qualification category, 1 doctor of medical sciences, 1 candidate of medical sciences.
Rehabilitation assistance with therapeutic massage is provided by 5 massage nurses of the highest qualification category.
